Web Submission: Complete the on-line course data entry form. Upon submission you will receive an immediate e-mail notification that your intent to apply has been received along with a cover sheet to submit with the required supporting documentation. Please note: It is not possible to submit your complete application on line; support material and cover sheet must be mailed.

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
  • Provide a statement of your reasons for wanting to take this course. Describe information obtained in this course that will be important for your work or research program.
  • Graduate students and postdoctoral students should attach a letter of reference from a mentor.
  • Enclose a copy of your curriculum vitae.

Deadline: Completed application forms and required supporting documentation must be received by April 15, 2010.   You will be notified of the Admissions Committee's decision by late May.

Financial Information: Tuition: $1,500.00; Room & Board: Additional. Financial assistance is available for participants in limited amounts, including non-U.S. citizens. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need. Candidates wishing to be considered for assistance must complete the Financial Aid Information Section included in this application. Scholarship requests are not a factor in admissions decisions.

  1. Download Application: Use the (PDF) link to download a PDF version of the Course Application and type or handwrite in black ink the necessary information. Mail the application along with the required materials to the address below.
  2. Request an Application: Call or e-mail Carol Hamel, Admissions Coordinator, (508) 289-7401; admissions@mbl.edu and ask to have an application mailed or faxed to you. Mail the completed application along with the required materials to the address below.
